Join Keep Austin Beautiful for a morning of service at Dottie Jordan Park! Keep Austin Beautiful will lead volunteers in a trash cleanup in the park and along the creek. Volunteers will learn about the history of the area and the importance of keeping our Austin watershed clean.
Dottie Jordan Park is a heavily utilized park located in northeast Austin. The work done by volunteers will directly benefit the large community that uses this area as well as helping maintain a healthy ecosystem around the area.
Volunteers should come prepared to work outside on uneven terrain. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Closed-toed shoes are required and long pants are recommended. Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated. Be ready to work hard and have fun!
