October Clean Lady Bird Lake

Greetings Volunteers, we’d like to thank you for volunteering for Keep Austin Beautiful's Clean Lady Bird Lake event. You'll be joining 100+ other volunteers to give some extra care to the lake and trails. You have signed up to participate in the Rowing Dock waterway cleanup. A watercraft will be provided to you by The Rowing Dock so there is no fee associated. **Please note that if you do not arrive by 9:15 a.m. on the day of the cleanup, you will automatically forfeit your spot on the lake and it will be offered to the next volunteer.**

Your Lake Leader for this site will be The Rowing Dock Staff and they will have your cleanup supplies, helpful safety guidelines, and further instructions for you.

Event Details

·    Starting Location: The Rowing Dock (2418 Stratford Dr, Austin, TX 78746)

·    Parking: Parking is available on site & there is additional parking available underneath the Mopac bridge. (76CG+QQ Austin, Texas) Please leave valuables and non-essential items at home. Do not leave your valuables in your car (even if you think you've hidden them). Zilker Park has seen an increase in car theft. Rowing Dock is not responsible for any stolen/damaged items.

·    Things to Bring: A FULL bottle of water, snack, and sunscreen is highly recommended as we've been experiencing heat wave index warnings more frequently.

Thanks again for being involved in making Austin such a unique and beautiful place to live and experience! See you on the lake!
