Richmond Tributary: Keep Austin Beautiful Day

Saturday, April 20th, 2019 from 9:00am to 11:00am (CT)

About

We have a BEAUTIFUL tributary to Williamson Creek (lovingly called the Richmond Trib) that needs some L-O-V-E !  This event will kick off Public Green & Wild's 30 Days of Lovin' the Trib, where neighbors are challenged to do something, anything, big or small, every day for 30 days to show LOVE for the creek.  Could you imagine the impact of that one month on our little creek ?

Details:
We will meet at the Aberdeen low water crossing, next to the flood buyout properties. We will go upstream (just past the rr track), picking up trash, recycling and hauling out flood debris to the street on Emerald Forest and Richmond Ave.  This is a family-friendly event.  We will have gloves, water and some snacks. Please bring your reusable water bottle. Potluck is encouraged (not required) since we span lunch time.

If you like what we're doing...check out our other upcoming events!  They will be listed under Public Green & Wild.
