Service and being involved in the community is a large part of who we are at St. Edward's University and a pillar of our Holy Cross tradition. As people of privilege, it is important for us to take time and give to those in need and contribute to our local community.

The Office of Community Engagement can help you learn about volunteer opportunities in the Austin area and provide resources on service and reflection. We provide service projects and collaborate to provide opportunities for students; we assist faculty and staff with resources and help make connections with area nonprofits; and we help connect nonprofits to the St. Edward’s community. Whatever your service needs are, we can help.

Through our actions we transform our communities, those we serve and ourselves, this is our hope, a transformation through service.
