Join City of Clearwater Parks and Rec for a free weekly Kai Chi Do class every Sunday at Moccasin Lake Nature Park.
The certified instructor of this class is Amina Rodriguez.

*Walk in attendance is also acceptable in addition to registration. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver on site prior to participation.*

Kai Chi Do is a body-oriented technique using movement, breath work and music to calm the mind and elevate consciousness. Participants will learn how to self-regulate and pace the emotional and physical intensity of the experience with their breath and the size and speed of their movements.

This class is for all skill levels and all ages. Anyone is welcome!

Please wear comfortable clothing, bring plenty of water and a mask. 

Capacity is extremely limited due to COVID-19 requirements.

You must register in advance to join and check in upon arrival. If the class is full, please sign up for the next session.

  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
