Community Engagement Day: Quail Creek Park

Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 from 10:00am to 12:30pm (CT)

About

Join Keep Austin Beautiful staff for an afternoon of service at Quail Creek Park! Keep Austin Beautiful will lead volunteers in a trash cleanup in the park and along the creek. Volunteers will learn about the history of the area and the importance of keeping our Austin watershed clean.

Quail Creek Park is a heavily utilized park located in northeast Austin. The work done by volunteers will directly benefit the large community that uses this area as well as helping maintain a healthy ecosystem around the area.

Volunteers should come prepared to work outside on uneven terrain. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated. Be ready to work hard and have fun!
