Community Engagement Day: Bartholomew Park

Friday, February 15th, 2019 from 9:00am to 11:00am (CT)

About

Join Keep Austin Beautiful staff for a morning of service at Bartholomew Park! Keep Austin Beautiful and community members will lead volunteers in a trash cleanup in the park and along the creek. Volunteers will learn about the history of the area and the importance of keeping our Austin watershed clean.

Bartholomew Park is a heavily utilized park located in northeast Austin. The work done by volunteers will directly benefit the large community that uses this area as well as helping maintain a healthy ecosystem around the Tannehill Branch Creek.

Volunteers should come prepared to work outside on uneven terrain. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated. Be ready to work hard and have fun!
