Johnson Creek Cleanup at Johnson Creek Hike & Bike Trail

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at the Johnson Creek Hike & Bike Trail to clean up litter from in and around Johnson Creek and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 11am on Thursday, March 2nd!

We will provide cleanup supplies and rubber boots on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet along the trail north of the parking lots on Veterans Dr - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful signage and table!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along and within the creek; please dress appropriately! Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated. This site has both paved trail areas that are generally easily accessed and more difficult/steeper areas as one moves closer to the creek. We will be working in both types of terrain as much as possible, so feel free to work to your comfort and ability. 

When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is available within the lots along Veterans Dr. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
