Buttermilk Creek Cleanup @ Buttermilk Nieghborhood Park

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Buttermilk Neighborhood Park to clean up litter from in and around Buttermilk Branch Creek and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 10am on Friday, May 5th.

We will provide cleanup supplies and rubber boots on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet along the creek behind the recreation center near the basketball courts - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along and within the creek; please dress appropriately! Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated. When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is along in the lots near the recreation center at 7500 Blessing Ave, Austin, TX 78752. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
