Join us for Keep Austin Beautiful Day, a city-wide day of service spanning 100+ sites in 31 zip codes in the greater Austin area.  We are excited to welcome you to this project where a Site Leader will meet you with supplies to collect litter and recycling while ensuring all safety precautions are addressed. A watercraft will be provided to you by Capital Cruises so there is no fee associated. **Please note this is a shoreline cleanup and does not involve boats.**

Here are important things to know:

What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, snack, a positive attitude and willingness to work.Where to park: Parking is available underneath the S. 1st bridge or the Vic Mathias Shores parking lot. Please do not bring or leave valuables in your car.Where to meet: Group will meet at the Capital Cruises check-in table.When should I arrive:  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for time to find parking and our meeting location. We will begin promptly at 9:00 am.


If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your shift at your earliest convenience to re-open those spots for registration.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
