Join us for Keep Austin Beautiful Day, a city-wide day of service spanning 100+ sites in 31 zip codes in the greater Austin area. We are excited to welcome you to this project where a Site Leader will meet you with supplies to collect litter and recycling while ensuring all safety precautions are addressed. Here are important things to know:
What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, snack, a positive attitude and willingness to work. In addition, heavy duty gardening gloves are recommended in case there is a need to lift rugged items.Where to park: I will survey the park today and provide an update. However, the streets bordering the park, preferably Pedernales street, should be fine for tomorrow's activity. Where to meet: On the corner of Canterbury street and Pedernales street.When should I arrive: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for time to find parking and our meeting location. We will begin promptly at 9:00 am.
