About
Join Keep Austin Beautiful for Love Where You Live Day, an event that invites volunteers to beautify the areas around their homes and neighborhoods. Keep Austin Beautiful offers free cleanup kits on the weekdays leading up to every second Saturday of the month, and after arranging to pick up your kit we invite you to show some love right where you are with us on March 12, 2022, whether it’s in your front yard or along your neighborhood street or creek. Pick up some litter, mow your yard, weed a garden bed, or rake some leaves, it’s up to you!
For our upcoming Love Where You Live Day on March 12, we are offering one FREE Cleanup Kit per participating household. Sign up for a pick up time to reserve your kit. There are 2 sizes of kits, one for 1-5 volunteers and another for 5-10 volunteers.
Due to our city's Stage 3 COVID-19 status, Keep Austin Beautiful recommends wearing a face mask and disposable gloves, using a litter grabber, and maintaining at least 6 feet of distance from other participants and passersby during your cleanup activity.
*Please note this will be a contactless supply pickup opportunity and all volunteers are expected to wear a mask during pick-up.*

o Bottle of Hand Sanitizer

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
