The Global Health Science and Practice Technical Exchange (GHTechX) will take place virtually from April 21 - 24, 2021. The event is curated through a partnership between USAID, the George Washington University, and the Global Health: Science and Practice Journal. Our goal is to convene speakers and technical sessions that highlight the latest and greatest in global health, with participants spanning global health experts, students, and professionals from across the global health community.

The GHTechX is free to attend, and open to anyone interested in the field of global health. All sessions will be fully virtual. While we encourage participants to attend sessions live to take advantage of networking and engagement features, all sessions will be recorded for participants to watch at a later time. You can use this form to register for the GHTechX, regardless of whether you plan to attend sessions live or watch recorded sessions after the live event.

The agenda will include a variety of sessions highlighting innovative topics and cutting-edge content. You can expect to see a mixture of featured plenary sessions, concurrent technical sessions (panels, presentations, and workshops), and networking sessions. Once you register, you can log in to the virtual platform to browse the full agenda!

Plenary sessions will include: featured conversations with inspiring leaders in global health, career panels, in-depth sessions on advocacy and the global health journal process, and open networking sessions.

Technical sessions will include sessions spanning the following tracks: COVID-19; Cross-Sectoral Engagement; Environmental Health; Family Planning and Reproductive Health; Global Health Security; Health Systems; HIV/AIDS; Humanitarian Relief; Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health; Noncommunicable Disease and Injury; Nutrition; and Other Infectious Disease.
