Join Great River Greening as we add pollinator habitat alongside the Minnehaha Creek Greenway in St. Louis Park. Continuing restoration work at this creekside park contributes to improving water quality and provides added habitat and resources for pollinators. Added pollinator-friendly plants and shrubs will also help beautify this popular urban oasis, known for its winding boardwalk and paved trails.
To ensure that we can maintain social distancing and minimize the number of people gathering at one time, please sign up for a designated start time below. If the event fills up, please sign up to be added to the waitlist - if there are cancellations, you will automatically be registered.
There are no facilities available at this site, however, a portable sanitation unit will all be available nearby. There will be no food provided at this event to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please bring your own lunch, snacks, or whatever you may need.
Once you have registered via GivePulse, organizers from Great River Greening will approve your registration and you will receive confirmation. You will continue to receive event reminders as the event nears. If you have further questions, please contact email@example.com.
If you are a minor registering yourself, you will need to provide an email address in the "Linked Survey" box so we can send the Youth Liability Waiver to your parent or guardian. If you are an adult bringing a minor, you can add them as an attendee and simply check the "Youth Waiver" box upon registering. If you are an adult registering yourself and another adult, you will need to enter their unique email address to the Attendee registration, so they can confirm their registration and sign a waiver.
Please arrive at your scheduled shift assignment. Upon arrival, Great River Greening staff will safely check you in and get you into your workgroups. Face coverings will be required. There will be hand sanitizer, extra masks, gloves, and any needed tools available for you.
Additional parking instructions, as well as a detailed map, will be sent out to registered attendees specific to each shift.
Ensuring the safety of our volunteers is our highest priority. It is important that event participants wear close-toed shoes and long sleeves to protect against ticks and scratchy brush. We recommend dressing for the weather, layers are key. Please wear a snug, properly fitting mask.
