Last year, Spring Festival Season in Austin generated almost 250,000 pounds of trash and recyclable material. In an effort to maintain and return the city back to its normal landscape, Austin Resource Recovery is seeking volunteers to help with litter maintenance and poster/flyer removal. Austin Resource Recovery and the Operations team will be leading the cleanup on Sunday, March 17th. Parking will be provided and meetup location will be confirmed the week of the event. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a reusable water bottle.
