Requirement Details
Volunteers should come prepared to work outside on uneven terrain. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Closed toed shoes are required and long pants are recommended. We also do not provide water bottles so please bring a full reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Hi. I didn't realize this was cancelled, so I showed up and put in 1 hour, 50 minutes. Luckily I brought my own bag and pickup stick - and wore my 2018 KAB shirt. Nabbed about 3 lbs of trash. Heavier than it would normally be since a lot of stuff was soggy. MUCH garbage from Central Market - plastic tasting cups, straws, receipt, produce bags, etc. Which raises the question - why was a group formed for a commercial site (not a park)? My reason for choosing this project is that my yoga studio is right there, and I see the trash several days a week. I made a point of cleaning up along the route to Yoga Yoga, but also picked up a ton of stuff in the CM parking lot.

Hello. Looking forward to the cleanup. I do not need a KAB shirt - I will wear one from a previous year. (Too many t-shirts!)
